The Virginia Tech Hokies and East Carolina Pirates are both looking to make a big impact this week when they meet up with each other for the 21st time. The Hokies are looking to snap their two-game losing streak to the Pirates and they will rock an interesting dome this weekend when they take the field in Blacksburg.
The Hokies revealed their bright orange and chrome helmets they will wear against the Pirates on Saturday. They have worn the look before, but it still awesome to look at.

The Hokies hope they can harness the power of “#OrangeEffect” and pull out a big win against East Carolina. The Pirates, on the other hand, are looking to bounce back with another win over an ACC team after they fell to South Carolina last week.
East Carolina has won the last two games over the Hokies, each by seven points. They trail 13-7 in the overall rivalry and the Hokies have not beaten the Pirates in Blacksburg since 2010.
There is certainly no time like the present for Virginia Tech to snap their losing streak. The two teams meet up at 4 p.m. EST on ESPN3.
