The Northwestern Wildcats and Nebraska Cornhuskers meet up tonight in both teams’ Big Ten conference opener. It will be Nebraska’s first conference game since punter Sam Foltz was killed in a car accident and the Wildcats will honor the player.
The Wildcats will rock some pretty awesome black helmets in tonight’s game with their Big Ten West opponent, but they will also have a special sticker on the back.
It is the special decal the Huskers have been wearing this year honoring Foltz.

This is pretty cool and I would expect every Big Ten team that meets up with Nebraska this year will honor the punter. It is a special thing for the Wildcats to do.
The Huskers honored Sam Foltz earlier this year by taking a delay of game penalty on the first punt of the season. The Fresno State Bulldogs did the right thing and declined the penalty in that game.
The Wildcats and Cornhuskers take the field at 7:30 p.m. EST on Big Ten Network.
