Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are set to go head-to-head in the first 2016 presidential debate Monday night. The two presidential nominees will answer questions from moderator Lester Holt for 90 minutes, without any commercial breaks.
The debate will feature six 15-minute segments.
After a coin flip to determine who will answer the first question of the night, we learned that Clinton will be setting the tone with two minutes to answer the question before Trump has two minutes to respond. Then, we’re off.
Tonight’s debate will be held at Hofstra University, the only university to ever host three consecutive presidential debates. Previously, Hofstra hosted debates in 2008 between then-Senator Barack Obama and Senator John McCain and again in 2012 between President Obama and Governor Mitt Romney.
