Earlier this year, the Big Ten was rocked by the death of Michigan State punter Mike Sadler and Nebraska punter Sam Foltz, who were killed in a tragic car accident on the way home from a kicking camp.
Now, the conference will honor the two fallen players this weekend with a commemorative coin.
The coin features both Sadler and Foltz and it will be used at all seven of the conference’s games this weekend. This is first weekend with all Big Ten match-ups so it is certainly a terrific way to honor the fallen players.

Foltz was coming into the 2016 season as the reigning Big Ten Punter of the Year while Sadler will be remembered as one of the best punters in team history.
This is certainly a great way to honor the two punters this weekend. The Cornhuskers face off against the Illinois Fighting Illini while the Spartans meet up with the Indiana Hoosiers.
