Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson is one of the best players in college football and on Saturday, he has a chance to help the Cardinals essentially lock down the ACC Coastal division with a win over the Clemson Tigers. Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney knows his team must shut him down if they want any chance of getting out with a win this weekend.
Swinney spoke with reporters on Wednesday and seemed to have an interesting take on how to describe the 2016 Heisman Trophy favorite. He strangely called Jackson a “hold your breath guy,” alluding to the fact that he can make one play that changes the entire face of the game.
Dabo Swinney on Lamar Jackson: "He's one of them hold your breath guys … he has the ability to change the game with one play."

On the year, Jackson has totaled over 1,800 yards with 25 total touchdowns. Against Florida State, he had a monster game, throwing for 216 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 146 yards and four touchdowns, helping the Cardinals to a 63-20 win and into the AP top five.
It should be a fun game between the Cardinals and Tigers this weekend, but if Clemson’s defense can’t slow down Jackson, it could be another huge day for the sophomore.
The two teams meet up in Clemson on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
