The Michigan State Spartans are one of the most talent-laden basketball programs in the country and it looks their 2017 class will be just as good. It got a little stronger on Friday when four-star power forward Xavier Tillman announced his commitment to the team.
The six-foot-eight, 270-pound forward from Grand Rapids, Michigan chose between the Spartans, Purdue Boilermakers and Marquette Golden Eagles. It was certainly an exciting day at Grand Rapids Christian today.

Tillman joins five-star power forward Jaren Jackson as the only other commit in the Spartans’ 2017 class. It should be a great year for the Spartans especially with these two terrific players on the court.
Xavier Tillman is the No. 89 player in the country, the No. 20 power forward in the country and the No. 1 player in the state of Michigan. It is safe to say that he is going to make a huge impact for the team.
