Michigan football lands 4-star guard Emil Ekiyor

Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan football program continues to build towards the future. Late Sunday night, four-star offensive guard Emil Ekiyor announced he was committing to the Wolverines.

Ekiyor, the No. 1 player in the state of Indiana and a top five player in the nation at his position, chose Michigan over offers from programs like California, Florida, LSU, and USC, among others.

He becomes the second member of Michigan’s Class of 2018.

“After a long recruiting process, I would like to thank every school that has extended me a college scholarship offer. I enjoyed every bit of the recruiting process,” Ekiyor wrote on Twitter.

“After prayer and talk with family, I have decided to further my education and athletic career at the University of Michigan.”
