The Indiana football team will be stepping onto the field next weekend for its homecoming game against No. 12 Nebraska with a new look. On Wednesday, the Hoosiers unveiled a retro “Candy Stripe” alternate uniform that takes the familiar patter from the iconic basketball warmups.
To add to the retro feel, the uniform will feature “Indiana” written in script down the leg and numbers instead of the traditional “IU” logo on the helmet.
Here is another look at the new uniform:

What do you think, Hoosiers fans?
Hopefully the football team will be able to draw from the rich history of the basketball team for some influence while wearing the candy stripes.
Indiana and Nebraska will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 15.
