The effects of Hurricane Matthew continue to be felt as another game has been moved as a result of the storm. The AAC tilt between the Navy Midshipmen and the East Carolina Pirates which was set to be played on Thursday, has been moved to November 19th due to flooding.
Both teams had open availability on the day, making the move possible.

When asked for comment, East Carolina athletic director Jeff Compher said, “Based on the latest information and projections we have received regarding the rising water level and subsequent travel conditions in eastern North Carolina the remainder of the week, we feel it is necessary to ensure the safety of everyone involved.”.
The storm also delayed games in South Carolina which was played the following day, and a game in Gainesville between the Florida and LSU, which is yet to be rescheduled. It appears the game will likely go unplayed.
The news may come as a bit of relief to Navy, who could likely use a break after upsetting a #6 ranked Houston team this weekend. Playing on a short week may have affected them in an adverse way.
