On Tuesday, the Missouri and Boston College football programs announced a home-and-home series that will kickoff in 2021. The first meeting will take place Sept. 25, 2021 at Boston College, with the second game at Mizzou on Sept. 14, 2024.
“We’re pleased to announce this series,” said Executive Associate Athletic Director Bryan Maggard in a statement from the school.
“Boston College is certainly a quality program with good name recognition so we feel this is an attractive matchup for our fans. It also gets us into an area in the Northeast where we don’t often get to, and we certainly have a lot of Mizzou alumni in that region who will have the chance to see their Tigers in person.”
The series marks the first time since 2000 that a sitting member of the ACC takes on Missouri.
The Tigers are continuing to work on their non-conference schedule for the 2021 season. Other non-conference games in 2021 will be Sept. 18 at Memphis, and an Oct. 16 home game with North Texas.
This season, Missouri sits at 2-3, sixth in the SEC East, with a road meeting against Florida on Saturday.
