Photo: Tim Tebow ran face-first into outfield wall in debut

Poor Tim Tebow.

On Tuesday, Timmy Terrific made his debut for the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League. While his first time at the plate over the summer led to Tebow blasting a homer, this time around the former Heisman winner left a lot to be desired.

Tebow finished Tuesday’s game 0-for-3 from the plate and 0-for-1 against the outfield wall.

At one point during the game, Tebow ran face-first into the outfield wall and Mark J. Rebilas of USA TODAY Sports was on the scene to capture this amazing photo.

Doh. It’s okay, Tim.

It’s clear that Tebow still has plenty of work to do on the diamond, but at least he’s out there giving it a shot. Let’s just hope he pays attention to the warning track next time, because running into the wall face-first is generally something a team doctor would recommend you avoid.

Luckily, Tebow was not injured on the play.
