The Louisville Cardinals are innovators. With Lamar Jackson at the helm, they’re explosive and unpredictable.
They’re a volatile barrel of touchdowns waiting to happen and they wear glow in the dark shoes. You’ll just have to take our word for it on that last part, though.
Kickoff is at noon. 59 degrees, bright and sunny. Should be a great day to leave any glow in the dark stuff at home. Without the dark in glow-in-the-dark, it’s more embarrassing than cool. The design that becomes illuminated is green and of a human foot as seen by an x-ray. I
t’s a shame nobody will be able to see it.
It’s easy to say that they should have worn them for a night game, like the one coming up against Houston on Nov. 17. But nobody would be able to tell then either. The field is still flooded with light, way too much to see things glow in the dark. The only way to really see them, is to hit the light switch. But then the camera’s can’t pick it up, and we can’t see it.
Seems like a case of botched advertising by adidas. It’s a cool design nonetheless.
