Appalachian State football wearing Breast Cancer Awareness helmets

When the Appalachian State football team takes the field later today against Idaho, the Mountaineers will be wearing a special helmet decal for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Appalachian State unveiled the special helmet decals on social media Saturday morning.

The Breast Cancer Awareness pink ribbon is mixed in with the Mountaineers primary logo to create the special design.

Appalachian State currently sits at 4-2 on the season, second-place in the Sun Belt, and is riding a three-game winning streak.

Kickoff between the Vandals and Mountaineers is set for 3:30 p.m. ET at Kidd Brewer Stadium. The game can be watched live on ESPN3.com or the WatchESPN app.
