Kentucky’s Malik Monk shows off amazing dunking skills at scrimmage

During Kentucky basketball’s annual Blue/White Scrimmage on Friday night, freshman Malik Monk reminded Big Blue Nation why they should be excited about the talent he is bringing to Lexington.

The five-star recruit was rated as the No. 2 combo guard in the nation and the No. 11 player overall.

On Friday night, the Arkansas native showed off the explosive athleticism that is going to allow him to make an immediate impact at the collegiate level for John Calipari’s team.

First, Monk showed off his power with a thunderous jam down the lane.

Then, after getting a steal, Monk easily made his way down the court before bringing the house down with an impressive 360-dunk.

Yeah, something tell us the kid has a solid future.

Kentucky kicks off its 2016 campaign on Nov. 11 against Stephen F. Austin at 7 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
