SNL’s Final Presidential Debate is just as perfect as you’d expect

Saturday Night Live has been a hit throughout the 2016 election season thanks to the brilliant impressions, Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump and Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton.

On Saturday, SNL got one final crack at taking on the debate stage by lampooning this week’s third and final presidential debate.

With Tom Hanks portraying Fox News moderator Chris Wallace, the already perfect impressions and setting was pushed over the top. The sketch touched all of the viral moments from the debate — like “bad hombre” and “nasty woman” — with Alec Baldwin even giving a shoutout to “the best Baldwin brother.”

While it will be refreshing to get the absurdity of the 2016 election out of the headlines, we’re going to miss the SNL parodies.

The good news is we still have two weeks until election day, so the candidates will find a way to provide more material leading up to Nov. 8. And we will be watching.
