In recent years, the Ohio State football program has been one of the most talented in the nation. As a result, the Buckeyes have been consistently pumping talent into the NFL.
Since Urban Meyer is smart enough of a man to know how appealing that can be to young players, Ohio State produced an incredible video that highlights the “upgrades” players have made from high school recruits to NFL Draft picks.
No. 3 overall pick Joey Bosa was the No. 37 recruit in the nation when he arrived in Columbus before turning into one of the top rookie defenders in the NFL.
The front-runner for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, who was drafted No. 4 overall, came to Ohio State as the No. 69 recruit in the nation.
It’s clear the strides those players made at Ohio State and they look to carry the lessons learned well into the future.
The video also serves as a fresh reminder of all of the talent that has channeled from Columbus to the NFL in recent years and it may surprise you with some of the names you may have forgotten.
