Photos: Marquette basketball unveils amazing new uniforms

The Marquette basketball program has slowly been releasing its full set of Jordan Brand uniforms for the upcoming season leading up to the opener. This week, we finally got to see the full combination of looks for the Golden Eagles in 2016-17.

We had previously seen the navy and white looks, but the full unveil gave us a look at the gold and “championship blue” uniforms.

Every uniform features the 1971 bumblebee stripes down the side, along with an “AL” patch in the center of the chest. The Al McGuire patch was added in 2001-02 in honor of former head coach Al McGuire, who won the 1977 NCAA championship.

Marquette is celebrating 100 years of basketball this season, so the nods to the program’s history give a remarkable touch to the more modern unis.

Check out a full gallery of the new Marquette uniforms below and let us know your favorite combination in the comments.
