Five-star SF Kris Wilkes sets date for decision

Highly coveted 5-star recruit Kris Wilkes has set a date by which he will announce which school he intends to attend for college. According to a message posted on his Twitter, he will announce his decision during national signing week on November 13th.

Wilkes is currently ranked as the No. 18 overall prospect in the class of 2017. At 6-foot-8, he has narrowed down his choices Illinois, Indiana and UCLA. Many feel that Wilkes is currently leaning towards UCLA and the fact that he has set a date to announce his decision suggests that he has already made up his mind.

In his highlights, Wilkes shows the potential to help all three of those programs a good deal. In a recruiting class that is mostly devoid of anything other than point guards, Wilkes stands out from the crowd.

With national signing day right around the corner the potential landing spots for Wilkes won’t have to wait long to get their answer.
