The World Series is heating up and the Chicago Cubs got their first fall classic win in 71 years. There is still a ways to climb for the Cubbies if they hope to be world champions though. Trailing the series 3-2, they’ll need to win the next two games on the road if they hope to lift their first Commissioners Trophy in over 100 years.
The odds are stacked high, but Vikings wide receiver and Illinois native Laquan Treadwell can already see the victorious press clippings.

Because they’re on his shoes!
Very cool shoes he’ll be wearing, if slightly confusing. The Vikings will be playing the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football tonight and the fact that his shoes say both “Chicago” and “Win” on them seems like a mixed message considering he’s playing on the other side.
Kickoff for the game tonight is at 8:30 on ESPN, while the World Series will resume tomorrow on FOX.
