Louisville football unveils all-black ‘Military Appreciation’ uniforms

The Louisville football team is set to wear some new uniforms when it takes the field in two weeks.

On Tuesday, the Cardinals took to Twitter to unveil their new “Young Patriot” uniforms that will be worn for Military Appreciation Day on Nov. 12 against Wake Forest.

The all-black uniforms don’t vary much from Louisville’s traditional design, outside of some distressed stars and stripes on the shoulders.

Check them out below:

Kickoff between the Cardinals and Demon Deacons is set for 7 p.m. ET at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on ESPN2.

But before Louisville can turn their attention to Wake Forest and the fancy new uniforms, the team must take care of business this weekend against Boston College on the road. Kickoff for that game is set for noon ET at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
