One of the longest championship droughts in professional sports was ended on Wednesday night when the Chicago Cubs topped the Cleveland Indians in Game 7 to claim the 2016 World Series title.
After the monumental win, students at Auburn decided to pay tribute to the Cubs victory by rolling the iconic Toomer’s Corner on campus.
Photos began to surface throughout the night.

Auburn is currently on a five-game winning streak and sits at No. 11 in the nation. This week, the Tigers host Vanderbilt at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Kickoff is set for noon ET on ESPN.
