When the Ohio State Buckeyes host the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday night, there will be some remarkable tributes to late Nebraska punter Sam Foltz, who was tragically killed in a car accident over the summer.
Like other Cornhuskers opponents, the Buckeyes will be honoring the memory of Foltz.
Ohio State punter Cameron Johnston will give a helmet that has 27 Buckeyes stickers on it to the Foltz family, according to ESPN’s Jeannine Edwards. Foltz wore No. 27 during his career.

Along with the gift, the Buckeyes plan to honor Foltz with a plaque outside of the visitors locker room and The Best Damn Band in the Land has a special formation planned for their halftime show.
OSU has plans to honor Sam Foltz when it hosts Nebraska, including plaque outside Huskers locker room, band formation, crowd signs and more.
