There’s going to be some extra New Orleans flavor on Saturday’s edition of ESPN College GameDay in Baton Rouge. Joining the program as the celebrity guest picker will be none other than hip hop star Lil Wayne.
ESPN’s Desmond Howard announced the news before going on air Saturday morning.

Lil Wayne, a New Orleans native and huge sports fan, is no stranger to ESPN. Lil Wayne has previously appeared on various shows across the network while spending time on the Bristol campus. The rapper was already in Baton Rouge for the weekend, having performed a concert on LSU’s campus Friday night.
Surely the local fans will go wild when Lil Wayne steps onto the set.
Kickoff between the No. 1 Crimson Tide and No. 13 Tigers is set for 8 p.m. ET at Tiger Stadium. The game will air live on CBS.
