Final Hillary Clinton/Donald Trump SNL Cold Open is the best one yet

The 2016 presidential election is just 48 hours away, so Saturday Night Live took one final chance to enjoy the wild campaign cycle with another brilliant Hillary Clinton/Donald Trump cold opening. And this may have been the best one yet.

Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon) and Donald Trump (Alec Baldwin) appear on Out Front with Erin Burnett (Cecily Strong) in the skit, as SNL tackled the latest campaign issues.

The polls are closing, Clinton is still haunted by those damn emails, and Trump is doing everything he can to remain on his best behavior.

But thing SNL mixed things up, and things got very real.

With the election so close, SNL reinforced that after this grueling campaign is over, despite all of the negative things that have been said, everyone is going to have to come together in the end if the country is going to get any better. After all, we all are striving for the same greatness for this country, there are just different ideas of how to get there.
