Ohio State marching band with touching tribute during halftime show

Ohio State has the best marching band in the country. After all, they have been dubbed “The Best Damn Marching Band in the Land.”

They regularly put on the best show and to be able to dot the “i” in Ohio during the show is considered to be a huge honor. This week, though, they put on a particularly impressive show. While it was superhero themed for the most part, they took a moment to pay homage to Nebraska punter Sam Foltz, who passed away tragically in a single car traffic collision earlier this year.

The band honored Foltz with a SF27 formation.

The tributes made to Foltz during Nebraska away games have become a common theme this season for the Cornhuskers. They have been given autographed jersey, tribute videos, roses placed not he yard marker that matched Foltz jersey number, but the Buckeyes tribute may have been the best yet.

It likely took quite a bit of time in rehearsal and was a great show of respect.

You can watch the entire half-time show here.

Very impressive.
