The 2016-17 college basketball season is underway and the Associated Press has released the latest AP Top 25 poll for Week 3.
After a loss to Kansas last week, the Duke Blue Devils, who entered the season as the preseason No. 1, have been dropped from the top spot to No. 6, while the Kentucky Wildcats jumped into the top spot.
Defending national champion Villanova occupies the No. 2 spot, while the surging Indiana Hoosiers take their place at No. 3. The North Carolina Tar Heels and Kansas Jayhawks round out the top five.
