He’s become a fixture at any big Ohio sporting event. It would only make sense that LeBron James would be present in Columbus for the Ohio State-Michigan matchup this weekend.
James, who was prominently featured at the Cleveland Indians World Series games last month, (and is even more prominently featured in the Cavaliers starting rotation several times a week), will be in attendance for “The Game.”
Along with several of his Cavaliers teammates, you can bet James will be roaming the sideline during the game. Though not an alumni of the university, James has been a lifelong Ohioan and supporter of the Buckeyes program.
His biggest contribution is likely the recruiting chip he provides for Urban Meyer. I
t helps lure impressionable high school studs when you have the most marketable athlete in sports regularly spending time around your team.
But it doesn’t stop there, the Buckeyes will be wearing cleats that resemble the latest LeBron James sneakers; the Solder 10s.

The Cavaliers have the day off on the 26th, but have to be in Philadelphia for a game against the 76ers on the 27th at 1:00 PM. James will likely have to fly there directly following the football game.
