Notre Dame’s DeShone Kizer requests NFL Draft evaluation

Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer is considering all options as he prepares for the offseason.

According to CSN Chicago Notre Dame Insider JJ Stankevitz, the redshirt sophomore has requested an evaluation from the NFL Draft Advisory Board.

Along with Kizer, junior offensive lineman Quenton Nelson, senior offensive lineman Mike McGlinchey and junior linebacker Nyles Morgan have also requested evaluations.

It will be very interesting to see what kind of evaluation Kizer receives.

After starting off the season hot and emerging as one of the top signal-callers in the nation, Kizer cooled off down the stretch as the Fighting Irish sputtered to a 4-8 record.

However, with a relatively weak quarterback class in 2017, Kizer could see his value inflated.

If he is projected to go in the first two rounds, you would have to believe the quarterback could very well forgo his final two years of eligibility to make the jump to the NFL.
