Reggie Bush will be wearing custom cleats this week to honor his fellow Trojan Joe McKnight. McKnight was killed earlier this week in a shooting that took place in a suburb of New Orleans.
The incident began as an encounter of road rage, and ended with McKnight being shot by a man who was released from custody later that night.
The man, Ronald Gasser, waited at the scene and told police he was the shooter.

Bush will be looking to honor McKnight with these custom cleats this weekend. A touching tribute in what has become a trend around the league. This week the NFL is allowing players to wear custom cleats to promote the charities of their choosing.
The cleats, which are mostly red, with some green and yellow and lettered in an Army style print, have one curious feature. McKnight was born in 1988, not 1983. The oversight will likely be fixed by tomorrows game, but it didn’t take long for people to discover the mistake.
