Willie Taggart is leaving USF to take the head coaching job at Oregon, and it looks like the Bulls have already identified a short list to fill the vacancy.
According to Brett McMurphy of ESPN, USF is looking at former Texas head coach Charlie Strong, Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin and Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano.

Interestingly enough, Schiano was reportedly beat out for the Oregon job by Taggart. The Bulls will also have to compete with conference rival Houston for Kiffin’s services.
USF is coming off of a 10-2 season, the most wins in school history, so there is plenty of momentum building in the program for whoever takes over next.
