Two members of the Louisville football program were reportedly shot while attending an off-campus party on Saturday night.
Details remain scarce, but WDRB.com is reporting junior linebacker James Hearns and sophomore linebacker Henry Famurewa were the two players injured in the shooting.
The good news is that neither player appears to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
A third, unnamed victim was also injured in the shooting.
Hearns, a native of Tallahassee, Florida, recorded eight sacks and five forced fumbles in 2016. Famurewa, a 6-foot-2, 253-pounder from Powder Springs, Georgia, saw limited action in 2016 but managed to record ten tackles and two sacks.
We will update the post with more information on Hearns and Famurewa’s statuses as it becomes available.
