Tate Martell says Ohio State football will add at least two more 5-star recruits

The Ohio State Buckeyes have one of the top rated 2017 recruiting classes, but if four-star quarterback Tate Martell’s latest string of messages are any indication, the already impressive class could turn out to be an all-time great one.

Martell sent out a series of messages on social media saying the Buckeyes will land at least two or three more five-star recruits.

The messages come shortly after Ohio State picked up a commitment from four-star linebacker Pete Werner.

According to 247 Sports, the Buckeyes are currently targeting five additional five-star recruits, so if Martell’s prediction proves to be true, Ohio State could land any of the following players.

DT Marvin Wilson – No. 3 Overall Player
RB Cam Akers – No. 4 Overall Player
CB Jeffrey Okudah – No. 7 Overall Player
WR Donovan Peoples-Jones – No. 11 Overall Player
CB Darnay Holmes – No. 12 Overall Player

Ohio State currently has six five-star recruits committed to the Class of 2017.

By the time the recruiting cycle closes, it looks like the Buckeyes are well on their way to having the No. 1 class in the nation.
