Michigan football fans troll Buckeyes, claim Urban Meyer will coach Rams

In their first year in Los Angeles, the Rams have moved on from head coach Jeff Fisher. Fisher, who failed to net a winning team while coaching for the Rams, had come under fire for under-performing and telling franchise legend Eric Dickerson he wasn’t welcomed on the sideline.

In the wake of the firing, the rumor mill churned at full force, with no shortage of big name coaches being named as potential suitors.

Among those names were Brian Kelly and Jim Harbaugh. It appears that Michigan fans didn’t take to kindly to their head coach being implicated in these rumors, and acted out as a result.

They began to barrage social media with unfounded reports that Urban Meyer will be leaving Ohio for the sunny coast of California:

One fan who is clever with Photoshop and internet stuff and knows how to use Wikipedia was able to make some pretty convincing looking changes:

To be clear: Urban Meyer is not becoming the next head coach of the Los Angeles Rams. He’s got a pretty good thing going in Ohio State and I would be surprised if he left it anytime soon.
