Louisville suspends OC Lonnie Galloway over WakeyLeaks scandal

The Louisville football program has handed out some punishment of its own regarding the WakeyLeaks scandal, which led to the firing of Wake Forest radio announcer Tommy Elrod, who for the past two years has been leaking gameplan information to Demon Deacons opponents.

On the Cardinals’ end, offensive coordinator Lonnie Galloway, who was the recipient of Elrod’s intel, has been suspended for the team’s Citrus Bowl matchup with the LSU Tigers.

Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino has said that he had no knowledge of any wrongdoing and he has remained firm in that stance.

This isn’t the last we will be hearing of the scandal.
