Wyoming’s Brian Hill declares for draft, enters loaded RB class

Wyoming star running back Brian Hill has played his final down for the Cowboys football program.

According to a report from Eric Galko of Optimum Scouting on Friday, the junior rusher will be forgoing his final year of eligibility to declare for the 2017 NFL Draft.

Hill’s decision bolsters an already impressive 2017 running back class.

This season, the Belleville, Illinois native recorded an impressive 1,860 yards and 22 touchdowns. Throughout his career at Wyoming, Hill has carried the ball 775 times for 4,287 yards and 35 touchdowns. He finishes his career as Wyoming’s all-time leading rusher.

The 6-foot-1, 219-pounder possesses an impressive combination of power and speed.

Hill is currently projected to be a third- or fourth-round pick.
