In the third of four bowl games on Tuesday, the Minnesota Golden Gophers and Washington State Cougars meet in a battle between the Big Ten and Pac-12 in the Holiday Bowl.
Despite the threat of a protest from the Golden Gophers earlier this month, Minnesota ultimately decided to show up to fulfill their obligation.
Washington State, led by quarterback Luke Falk, is looking to end a two-game losing skid which ended the momentum the team had earlier in the year. Minnesota is also looking to end the season on a high note after falling to Wisconsin in the regular season finale.
