North Texas QB Alec Morris receives death threat after bowl game loss

North Texas quarterback Alec Morris was at the helm for the Mean Green’s 38-31 overtime loss to Army in the Heart of Dallas Bowl on Tuesday.

Following the game, Morris, who transferred to North Texas from Alabama prior to the season, took to Twitter to share a disturbing message he received on Facebook following the team’s loss.

The message Morris shared includes a death threat, and a terrible comment about his mother.

C’mon, Steven Wynn. You are the worst person in America today. Are you really going to get that upset and be that horrible of a human over an exhibition game? Everyone needs to be better.

Morris finished the game with 304 passing yards, three touchdowns and an interception.
