Northwestern embraces NYC spirit with Rockettes dance on sideline

Northwestern found some success against the Pitt Panthers during the first half of the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday afternoon, and the Wildcats were feeling good about themselves on the sideline.

The Wildcats were having so much fun, in fact, that they fully embraced the New York City spirit by performing the Rockettes dance during the second quarter.

Let it flow, Northwestern.

Invite these young men to a performance at Radio City Music Hall, please. Or who knows, if no one else wants to perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration, maybe the Northwestern football team can fill in as the Rockettes B-squad.

Unfortunately for Northwestern, the joy was short lived. Pitt stormed out of the locker room in the second half and quickly drove down the field for a touchdown to take a 17-14 lead early in the third quarter.
