The USF Bulls are taking on South Carolina in the Birmingham Bowl on Thursday afternoon and a special guest was spotted on the field prior to kickoff.
Josh Kendall of The State shared a photo which shows new USF football coach Charlie Strong chatting it up with USC support staff member Andre Goodman before the game at Legion Field.
Strong, who accepted the Bulls head coaching job after being fired from Texas, is not coaching in the game, but he will get a close and personal look at his future players as they face off against the Gamecocks on ESPN.

Strong was hired by USF to replace Willie Taggart, who left the Bulls to accept the head coaching job at Oregon. He brings a 53-37 career record as a head coach with him to Tampa.
