JT Barrett announces he'll return to Ohio State

Ohio State star quarterback JT Barrett announced he will be returning for his senior season in Columbus.
Following an embarrassing shutout loss to the Clemson Tigers in the Fiesta Bowl, Barrett took to social media to release a brief statement to Buckeyes fans.
“I’m coming back for my senior year,” Barrett wrote on Instagram. “Much love to Buckeye Nation and thank God for the blessings.”


In 2016, Barrett threw for 2,555 yards, 24 touchdowns and just seven interceptions. During his three years in Columbus, the Ohio State star has recorded 6,381 passing yards, 69 touchdowns and 21 interceptions. He has added 31 touchdowns on the ground.
