Oregon State’s recruiting campaign is off to a great start. Never count out the little guy (comparatively), as the Beavers received word they have landed four-star wide receiver Jamire Calvin over some major FBS programs.
Alabama wanted him, Notre Dame wanted him, so did Arkansas and Washington and a bunch of other teams, but Calvin decided the Beavers were the best fit for him to embark on the next stage of his football career.
A speedy and shifty receiver, Calvin is expected to line up primarily in the slot.
When speaking on his recruiting visits with Oregon State, Calvin like that they intended to use him in a style similar to Brandin Cooks and Victor Bolden.

The receiver is considered a huge coup for Oregon State, a program that is maybe on the second or third tier, they have likely become accustomed to losing out on players to the powerhouse schools.
Whoever served as the primary recruiter for Jamire Calvin should be treated to a steak dinner, thanks to them he’ll be wearing Beaver orange to start next season.
