After days of rumors and speculation, the Cal football program has agreed to a five-year deal with Wisconsin defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox to become the next Golden Bears head coach.
Wilcox is very familiar with the West Coast and Pac-12, playing his college football at Oregon, previously coaching on the Cal staff as linebackers coach, and running the defenses at Washington and USC.
Brett McMurphy of ESPN was first to report the deal on Saturday morning.

The 40-year-old Eugene, Oregon native replaces Sonny Dykes, who was fired on Jan. 8.
