The Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs already has its first blooper thanks to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
In the second quarter, Wilson and the Seahawks were pinned deep in their own territory after a penalty negated an impressive run from punt returning Devin Hester.
Wilson took the snap, had his foot stepped on by an offensive lineman and fell backwards into the endzone.
It was one of the most pathetic safeties you will ever see, but still resulted in two points for the Atlanta Falcons, who lead 12-10 at the two-minute warning.

As you would expect, Wilson was immediately roasted for the play.

Poor Russell. If it wasn’t already bad enough that he had to see Future jokes from the crowd all day, he now owns the worst play of the day. Of course, there is still plenty of time left in Divisional Round weekend, so we’ll have to see if anyone can top it.
