Central Michigan star Marcus Keene continues to play lights out, with his best showing of the season coming over the weekend in a 101-92 win over Miami-Ohio.
The Chippewas guard dropped 50 points against the Redhawks, the highest single-point total from any player this season.
Keene, who stands just 5-foot-9, is the nation’s leading scorer with 29.8 points per game.
Along with his 50-points, Keene added four assists and three steals. It was the first time a player has hit the 50-point mark in a Division I game since South Dakota State’s Nate Wolters dropped 53 points in 2013.
Keene went 15-of-23 from the floor, with a whopping 10 three-pointers.
