The Tar Heels will be without a major part of their offense for the conference matchup against the Hurricanes.
Theo Pinson, the energetic lighting rod for NC will be out with an ankle injury that is still being evaluated by doctors. His return is not yet determined and will be decided upon once the extent of his injury is known.
Theo Pinson will not play Saturday st Miami after rolling his ankle in Thursday's win over Virginia Tech.

Pinson isn’t the Tar Heels most prolific scorer, though he has added 6.2 points per game this season in limited action. He has also contributed 5.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in only six games this year. He missed the first 18 games of the season while he nursed a broken foot.
The injury, which required surgery on October 26th kept him out of practice until just after Christmas.
Now his status is in doubt again. Pinson is believed to have injured ankle while attempting to retrieve a rebound against Virginia Tech on Thursday.
The Tar Heels are 19-3 this season and look to continue the trend against a scrappy Hurricanes team. Miami is likely to be on the bubble for the tournament, and a win like this would go a long way.
