The Nevada basketball program will be stepping onto the court Wednesday night with some incredible new uniforms that have been dubbed “Battle Born.”
The new navy uniforms feature gold trim, while featuring the Battle Born logo featured on the Nevada state flag. The uniform is just one of many added to the team’s rotation for the 2016-17 college basketball season.
“Our guys are really excited,” head coach Eric Musselman this week during his press conference, via The Record-Courier. “We showed them some of the layouts and what we were thinking about doing and even talked to Gov. (Brian) Sandoval about it. We’re overly excited.
“I admired about how outside the box Oregon was. I have two teenage sons, and whenever we would go into a sporting goods store they want to buy teams who have unique branding. We want to be different. We want to be creative and stay ahead of the curve.”
