NCAA Tournament Rankings 2017: Top 16 Teams Announced By Committee

On Saturday, the NCAA Tournament selection committee announced its rankings for the top 16 teams in the nation. It marks the first time the selection committee has announced rankings prior to Selection Sunday.
The rankings show the top four teams in each region.
CBS revealed the rankings during its March Madness preview show on Saturday, with very few surprises at this point.
The No. 1 seeds are defending national champions Villanova, Kansas, Baylor and Gonzaga. Gonzaga is currently the No. 1 team in the AP Poll and a win over Saint Mary’s could earn them a higher seed. If not, you know there will be people who call their current ranking in the tournament field a snub.
Kansas is the No. 2 overall seed behind Villanova, while Baylor is at No. 3.
