The Texas Tech Spring Game is going to be a spectacle.
The program has announced that its annual spring game will be played on April 1 at the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters, also known as “The Star,” in Frisco, Texas, according to a release from the university.
Ford Center, a 12,000-seat indoor stadium on the property, will host the game.
Tickets to the game are available for $10.
“We are excited for this opportunity to continue to grow our partnership with a world-class organization such as the Cowboys,” Texas Tech athletics director Kirby Hocutt said. “This will be a tremendous experience for not only our student-athletes but our fans in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The Star will be the perfect setting to showcase our program and our university.”

Red Raiders head coach Kliff Kingsbury was equally as excited.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to be the first college program to host their Spring Game at The Star,” Kingsbury said. “The facility is immaculate and will provide an incredible experience for our student-athletes. With this being one of our three public scrimmages this spring, we are excited for our fans to be able to watch this team continue to develop.”
If Texas Tech can continue to build on this relationship with the Dallas Cowboys, this could turn into one hell of a recruiting advantage.
