Despite Alabama falling short in the national championship, SEC football continues to dominate the national landscape.
On Wednesday, the National Football League announced its list of more than 330 players who will be attending the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine and, to the surprise of no one, the SEC had the most players invited.
The SEC had 66 invitees, while second-place went to the ACC with 60.
The Big Ten had 51 players invited to Indianapolis.
A full breakdown can be seen below:
AAC — 18
ACC — 60
Big 12 — 19
Big Ten — 51
Conference USA — 11
Independents — 5
MAC — 11
MWC — 11
Pac-12 — 46
SEC — 66
Sun Belt — 5
As for the breakdown by school, no program saw more individual success than the Michigan Wolverines.
Congrats on that one, Coach Harbaugh.
