Seton Hall's Khadeen Carrington: Season's A Failure Without Tournament Berth

Last season, the Seton Hall Pirates pulled off a stunner in the Big East Tournament, knocking off eventual national champion Villanova to claim the conference championship.
This year, however, the Pirates have struggled and find themselves in danger of missing out on the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
If Seton Hall is on the outside looking in, Pirates guard Khadeen Carrington says the season would be a failure.
“I would consider it a failure,” the junior told Adam Zagoria. “I think we definitely have enough strength, enough players. We’re a good team. I think we definitely are a tournament team and we’re just focused on making this last home stretch a good one and making a run to the NCAA.”
Seton Hall closes out the season against Villanova, Xavier, DePaul, Georgetown and Butler.
Wins in those games would do wonders for the Pirates’ tournament chances. Currently, Seton Hall sits at 16-9 on the season.
Seton Hall and Villanova take the court in Newark on Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is set for 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
